Do's and Don'ts (English)

Do's
1. Adhere to Foundation Policies: Familiarize yourself with the foundation's bylaws, constitution, and code of conduct. Strictly comply with resolutions passed by the foundation's governing body.
2. Maintain Legal Compliance: Ensure all activities align with applicable laws, including those related to non-profit organizations, taxation, and data protection. Submit accurate and timely financial and personal disclosures when required.
3. Document Activities: Maintain records of all meetings, transactions, and activities undertaken on behalf of the foundation. Use official communication channels for correspondence to ensure accountability.
4. Act in Good Faith: Perform duties honestly, with care, diligence, and in the best interests of the foundation. Seek to resolve disputes internally before escalating them to external forums.
5. Participate Responsibly: Attend meetings, events, and decision-making sessions actively and responsibly. Vote on decisions transparently and based on facts.
6. Respect Confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive or proprietary information related to the foundation and its members. Obtain permission before sharing foundation information externally.
7. Promote Transparency: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest in activities or decisions. Ensure accurate reporting of financial contributions, expenditures, and project outcomes.
8. Focus on Foundation Goals: Prioritize activities that promote the welfare of the Vaishya community, such as education, healthcare, and skill development. Encourage lawful and ethical business practices among members.
9. Seek Legal Guidance When Needed: Consult legal counsel before implementing policies or entering agreements that may have long-term consequences. Review compliance regularly to align with changes in law.
10. Engage in Mediation and Dispute Resolution: Use internal grievance mechanisms or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) channels for conflict resolution.
11. Promote Unity and Collaboration: Foster strong bonds within the Vaishya community and beyond. Actively participate in group initiatives, discussions, and activities.
12. Uphold Cultural and Ethical Values: Respect and promote the traditions, values, and culture of the Vaishya community. Demonstrate honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior in all dealings.
13. Contribute to Social Welfare: Volunteer in programs that support education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. Organize or participate in charity events, such as scholarships or health camps.
14. Engage in Networking and Mentorship: Share expertise and knowledge with fellow members. Mentor young professionals or entrepreneurs from the community.
15. Support Economic Growth: Encourage business collaborations and partnerships among members. Promote local, national, and global initiatives to support Vaishya-owned businesses.
16. Be Inclusive and Respectful: Welcome diverse perspectives and foster inclusivity. Treat all members with respect regardless of their background or opinions.
17. Follow Organizational Guidelines: Adhere to the foundation's constitution, rules, and bylaws. Attend general meetings, conferences, and other official gatherings regularly.
18. Enhance Personal Development: Participate in skill-development workshops, seminars, and training organized by BVGF. Continuously work on self-improvement to contribute effectively to the community.
19. Promote Education: Advocate for the importance of education within the community. Sponsor or support initiatives that enable access to education for underprivileged members.

Don'ts
1. Avoid Discrimination or Bias: Refrain from discriminatory practices based on caste, gender, or socioeconomic status. Avoid favoritism in decision-making or collaborations.
2. No Negative Propaganda: Do not spread rumors or false information about the foundation or its members. Avoid actions that harm the reputation of BVGF.
3. Refrain from Conflicts of Interest: Do not exploit the platform for personal or political gain. Avoid engaging in activities that may create conflicts of interest within the organization.
4. No Misuse of Resources: Do not misuse financial or other resources of the foundation for unauthorized purposes. Avoid seeking personal benefits from community welfare funds or donations.
5. Avoid Unethical Behavior: Refrain from indulging in corrupt practices or unethical business activities. Do not engage in acts of dishonesty or fraud under the foundation's banner.
6. No Disrespectful Conduct: Avoid language or behavior that may hurt the sentiments of other members. Refrain from disruptive behavior in meetings or official forums.
7. No Neglect of Duties: Do not ignore assigned responsibilities or deadlines for foundation-related tasks. Avoid absenteeism from key events or initiatives without valid reasons.
8. Do Not Promote Divisive Agendas: Avoid discussions or activities that promote division within the community. Stay away from spreading political or ideological propaganda under BVGF's name.
9. No Exploitation: Do not exploit vulnerable members of the community for personal or professional gain. Avoid taking undue advantage of shared resources or contacts.
10. No Breach of Confidentiality: Do not disclose sensitive information without explicit consent from the governing body. Avoid unauthorized sharing of donor or member data.
11. No Misuse of Funds: Refrain from diverting foundation funds for personal or unauthorized use. Ensure all financial transactions are transparent, documented, and audited.
12. No Legal Violations: Do not engage in activities that breach laws or regulations. Avoid unauthorized fundraising or activities that could bring legal liabilities.
13. Avoid Undermining Organizational Integrity: Do not act in a manner that damages the foundation's reputation, assets, or goodwill. Avoid public criticism of the foundation's decisions without constructive feedback channels.
14. Avoid Conflicts of Interest: Do not engage in activities that may undermine the foundation's interests for personal gain. Refrain from using the foundation's name for personal or political endorsements.
15. No False Allegations: Refrain from making baseless accusations against members or the foundation. Use proper channels to report concerns or grievances.
